2006 BARRA Pinot Noir This is a Burgundian-style Pinot Noir made from grapes grown on 40-year-old vines. It is full-bodied with hints of ripe plum, black cherry and spice. Serve with your favorite pasta dishes or with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing over a spring mix of greens with dried cranberries and toasted pine nuts sprinkled on top. 2003 BARRA Petite Sirah The 46-year-old Petite Sirah vines on which these grapes were grown yield fruit intense with the essence of black cherry and peppery flavors. This wine is perfect for garlic lovers! Try it with raviolis and a rich cream sauce of garlic, prosciutto and asparagus drizzled over the top.

2004 BARRA Cabernet Sauvignon - This wine has had the utmost care from start to finish. The sweet blackberry fruit flavors are complimented by the cinnamon and other dried spices which come from the wine being aged in French oak for 14 months. The pleasure of tasting starts with the aromas and carries through to the black fruit flavors. This is a mouthful of well-balanced wine that finishes with soft, integrated tannins.

2007 BARRA Chardonnay - Golden straw in color with rich deep aromas of hazelnut, butter crème, lemon and clove spice. This wine is full body in style with flavors of red apple, roasted almonds and Meyer lemon. An elegantly crafted Chardonnay with a long finish that turns creamy without losing its structure. This wine would pair well with creamy seafood dishes, havarti cheese and roasted nuts.

2004 BARRA Zinfandel - Medium ruby in color, this wine has very seductive aromas of black cherry, red licorice, clove, sandalwood and hints of black pepper. The flavors are rich, and beautifully wrapped around a soft and full bodied mouth. Rich dark flavors of black plum, blackcherry, star anise with just a hint of vanilla are showcased in this dark, almost brooding style of Zinfandel. The bright, rich fruit flavors are well balanced and stand up to the ripe style due to the richness of body and structure. Pinot Gris, McFadden - An Alsace classic variety, this wine is made from fully ripened grapes picked at just the right point to assure a refreshing, fruity wine that goes well as an aperitif before luncheon or dinner, or as a perfect companion for seafood, chicken, pork or Asian dishes. Tastes of guava and passion fruit with some mineral note.

Pinot Noir, McFadden - Fruity on the nose with notes of cinnamon. Smooth early pallet with notes of black cherry and cranberry with subtle hints of red apple and cinnamon spice. A great wine with any meal! Gold Medal Winner 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
