Both are presented in a beautiful wood wine case making this a very special and meaningful gift. Created on the Western Cape of South Africa, the soil and climate produce an extremely clean and complex wine. This Merlot has plum fruit flavors and bright cherry tang inside an unctuous texture. There is a quick delicious finish with a very restrained oak influence. Simple, clean and balanced. Now also available with a Sonop Chardonnay (2006)! A rich chardonnay with lemon cream and zesty grapefruit flavors -- refreshingly crisp and food friendly. Both the Merlot and Chardonnay are vegan. The Sonop Farm produces some of the best wine among organic vintners around the world. In addition, a percentage of earnings goes directly back into the community for schooling and building projects.
