EcoExpress is proud to offer exceptional products to our customers. If an item fails to meet your expectations, please contact us immediately to return within 30 days of receipt (or 7 days for live plants) and we will take it back for an exchange or refund of the product cost minus shipping charges. We regret that final sale, opened food and personal care items cannot be returned. Customized items cannot be returned unless there is a shipment error or manufacturing defect.

We accept the following major credit cards: American Express, Discover, Mastercard and VISA. We also accept Paypal.

Your order is placed over secure lines but if you feel more comfortable, you can call to place your order over the phone at (800) 733-3495.

Sometimes item substitutions may be necessary to ensure timely delivery. All substitutions will be made only with items of equal or greater value.

Canceling an order

To cancel an order, please contact us at (800) 733-3495. EcoExpress cannot cancel an order for any item after the item has been picked for shipping (you can, of course, return the item for a refund – excluding perishable items such as food and live plants).

How to return merchandise

Please refer to the return instructions on your packing slip and make sure your package is insured and prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. packages.

Refunds

Please allow one billing cycle for a credit card refund to appear on your statement. Refunds on shipping and handling are credited only when an item is incorrectly shipped or arrives defective or damaged. Gift returns will be credited with a gift certificate.

Shipping & Sales Tax

Shipping charges

Most orders ship within 48 hours. Some items ship directly from the artisan and may take slightly longer.

  • We ship all items via UPS to the continental United States. If your delivery address is not supported by UPS please inquire about alternative shipping methods such as US Postal Service Priority mail and Express mail.
  • EcoExpress is happy to send a rush delivery via UPS or Federal Express.
  • The cost will vary depending on the size of your gift and its destination.
  • Generally the charges listed below will apply. Charges may be a little higher for East Coast deliveries. We will confirm the cost when you order.
  • All shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico will be charged an additional $10 for postage and handling.
  • Delivery by courier is available throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The cost will depend on the size of purchase and destination. Generally the price range is $15.00-$30.00.
  • All packages are tracked and have confirmation numbers.

Live Plant Shipping

Due to state restrictions the Organic Meyer Lemon Plant cannot be shipped to FL or TX. Due to perishability some plants cannot be shipped outside of the continental U.S. Shipping restrictions will be noted on the product page.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. Territories

Orders shipping to AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands have a $15.95 surcharge added to cover additional costs. Express shipping is not available to AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes in AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.

Sales Tax

State and local sales tax is collected on all orders shipped to California, Colorado and Illinois.

Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you when necessary. Contact information for gift recipients may also be collected in order to ensure correct gift delivery. Financial information (credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates, billing address, etc.) that is collected is used to bill you for products and services. You may, from time to time, receive information from us about new features, new services, and special offers we think you’ll find valuable. You may opt-out of receiving future mailings.
